Generate an image showcasing the evolution of keyboards. On the left side, depict a dimly lit, standard QWERTY keyboard symbolizing the starting point. In the center, display a brightly lit, custom ergonomic keyboard, split or curved, denoting a creative DIY solution. On the right, present a well-lit, modern pre-built ergonomic keyboard, illustrating accessibility and professional use. Apple Announcements Including the Vision Pro

Apple recently announced updates to all of their BSD UNIX operating systems - macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, & tvOS - and also unveiled a new device with a new operating system: the Vision Pro, an augmented reality-based headset with a focus on what Apple calls 'spatial computing'. The Vision Pro is expensive, but that price will come down in coming years; meanwhile there is plenty to look at and think about when it comes to this new category of computing. In this talk, Scott Granneman will cover the announcements that Apple made and talk about what they mean for computing in general as well as the open source world.

The BASE presentation is intended to be an introductory level session ( often focused on personal computing ); which may include either amazing graphical packages, blinking lights, command line wonders, demonstrations of useful applications, displays of newly discovered web sites, major resolution of long standing anomalies, quantum discoveries, smoke and mirrors, superb tutorials, or shifts in both time and space.

At 7:00p.m. Central Time we attempt a quick welcome, introductions, announcements, current events of interest, and a general CALL FOR HELP (Questions and Answers) segment.

At 7:15p.m. Central Time the MAIN presentation begins. The MAIN presentation is intended to be something more advanced, detailed, important, new, profound, significant, timely or useful and is often focused on enterprise computing.
